Self check-in
Self check-in lets guests enter without meeting anyone, using a smart lock, keypad or key safe, with access details issued shortly before arrival. Access codes are normally unique to each stay and expire at checkout.
Why Self check-in matters for your revenue
It removes the cost and scheduling risk of in-person handovers and accommodates late arrivals across time zones. Platforms also treat it as a desirable amenity, which helps in filtered searches.
