Major exhibitions, race weekends, festivals and openings concentrate an unusual amount of demand into a handful of dated nights. Each page below covers one event: what it means for an owner's pricing, and how a company books whole residences for its team. Every date comes from the organiser's published schedule and the source is linked.

ADIPEC 2026
- 2 – 5 November 2026

ADIPEC brings the global energy industry to Abu Dhabi for four days, with delegations, exhibitors and executive teams arriving from across the world. Accommodation demand spreads well beyond hotels and into serviced apartments and villas, because senior teams travel together and want space to host.

GITEX Global is the largest technology event in the region and, for 2026, it moves across two venues — the summit day at Dubai World Trade Centre followed by four days at Expo City Dubai. It lands in the middle of Dubai's winter high season, so event demand stacks on top of already strong leisure demand.

The event previously known as Arab Health now runs as World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai, across two venues in January 2027. It is one of the largest healthcare trade gatherings in the world and fills Dubai with international manufacturers, distributors and clinical delegations at the height of the winter season.

Why do events matter for short-term rental owners?
A major exhibition, race weekend or festival concentrates demand into a small number of dated nights. Guests arriving for those dates book early, stay longer and are far less price-sensitive than ordinary leisure travellers. Owners who set rate floors and minimum stays months ahead capture that; owners who price late are usually selling into a market that has already booked.
Do you invent the rate uplift for each event?
No. We publish event dates taken from the organiser's own schedule and we link the source on every page. We do not publish percentage uplift claims for a week that has not happened. Pricing is set from live booking pace for your specific property and district.
Can a company book several residences for one event?
Yes. Delegations, exhibitors and sponsor teams regularly book whole homes rather than separate hotel rooms, on one contract with one invoice. Tell us the dates, the number of guests and the venue and we will come back with options.
How far ahead should we plan for an event week?
For a major exhibition or race weekend, three to six months. For a destination with a short season — AlUla, Egypt's North Coast, Marbella — the decisions that shape the year are taken before the season opens, not during it.
